Frequently asked questions
Here are the questions we're frequently asked. For more helpful information, you can also read our “Jargon buster” by choosing the option shown on the left hand side of the screen.
I have a poor credit rating; will I still be able to get a mortgage?
Many lenders offer mortgages to people with impaired credit and here at Who's Lending? we are specialists in advising on and finding mortgages for our customers who have a poor credit rating.
We'll recommend the best option for you.

Will I have to pay any fees?
Who's Lending? won't charge a penny for the advice we give you, but the lender may charge fees, for example an arrangement fee or a valuation fee. We'll make sure that you'll have all the information you need in writing before you decide to go ahead with your mortgage.
How much will my mortgage cost each month?
The amount you pay each month depends on how much you borrow, the rate that you are paying, the type of mortgage you have and how long you take the mortgage out for.
Your expected monthly payments will be confirmed in writing to you before you apply for the mortgage, in a Key Facts Illustration (KFI). This means you can be sure you will be able to afford the mortgage before you take it out.
